Suspected missile hits village in Poland, killing 2 people

According to Radio ZET, two stray rockets landed in Przewodów, a town in the Lublin province near the Ukrainian border. A grain dryer was struck and two people were killed. An army, the prosecutor’s office, and the police are on site. There is also unofficial reporting that military planes were taken from the airport near Tomaszów Lubelski.

It was previously confirmed by the fire brigade that explosions occurred in Przewodów. Marcin Lebiedowicz, a senior captain of the State Fire Service’s County Headquarters in Hrubieszów, said in an interview with Radio Lublin that the cause of the incident was unknown at the time. We were notified of an explosion at the drying yard. Upon arrival, we confirm that something like this occurred. There were two people who died on the spot. Our team of security and lighting professionals is securing the area as we speak – he said.

The National Security Bureau has been summoned for a crisis meeting by PM Morawiecki and President Duda.
